The legendary thoroughbred, Three Bars, impact on the American Quarter Horse is unheralded to any other individual horse to date.  Having made an everlasting mark on the Quarter Horse breed, this stakes winning, thoroughbred stallion was rightfully inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame.   

He sired 499 Quarter Horse foals, and they became legends on the race track and in the show arena, both.  The offspring sired by Three Bars, as well as those sired by his descendants, are known to have possessed quiet, gentle dispositions.   Three Bars descendants achievements include racing, cutting, halter, and other arena performance events such as reining and roping.  With a sterling record of Championships in many events, the culmination of awards garnered by his get has resulted in establishing Three Bars as an All-Time Leading Sire and Grandsire.
