Impressive, a one word name that aptly described this legendary stallion. Impressive single-handedly changed the American Quarter Horse breed by becoming one of the most influential halter horse stallions ever known. Impressive was known as a playful colt, full of energy, and later as a kind stallion.  His sons and daughters claimed championships at every Quarter Horse World Show from 1975 to 1991.  The Impressive progeny continue to be a powerful force in the show ring, despite the HYPP gene that affects the offspring of this great sire.  Among his get were 846 halter point earners, 268 performance point earners, and 29 world champions. Impressive lived up to his name and most would say surpassed it. Impressive 1969-1995.
